Share links & passcodes

A share link lets someone open a meeting without a ScribX account. You can add a passcode for an extra layer, and revoke the link any time.

  1. Open a meeting and click Share (or use the extension panel).
  2. Set General access to Anyone with the link.
  3. Click Copy link and send it.

Recipients open the meeting in the browser — no sign-in required.

  1. 1General access — choose “Anyone with the link”
  2. 2Require an access code — on by default; share it separately
  3. 3Copy the link to share
Set General access to “Anyone with the link”, optionally require an access code, then copy the link.

Add an access code

By default, a new link is protected with a generated access code. Anyone opening the link must enter it first, so share the code through a separate channel from the link. To create a code-less, link-only share, switch off Require an access code.

Manage and revoke

  • A link stays valid until you change General access back to Restricted, your team, or your organization.
  • Revoking instantly cuts off everyone who only had the link.
  • People added by email or domain keep their access regardless of the link.
Org controls

Your organization can restrict public link sharing. If you can't create an "anyone with the link" link, an admin has limited it — see SSO & org controls. Enterprise
