Chat with a meeting
Chat is actively being improved, so answers and behavior may change over time. Have feedback? support@scribx.app.
Every meeting in your library has a Chat tab. Ask questions in plain language and ScribX answers using only that meeting's transcript and notes — nothing else. Each answer includes citations you can click to jump straight to the moment it came from, so you can verify it in seconds.
How to use it
- Open a meeting and switch to the Chat tab.
- Type a question and send it.
- Read the answer, then click any citation to jump to that point in the transcript.
- Ask follow-ups — Chat keeps the context of your conversation about this meeting.
Example questions
- "What did we decide about pricing?"
- "List Aiko's action items."
- "Summarize the discussion about the launch timeline."
- "Who raised concerns about the budget, and what were they?"
- "What are the open questions we didn't resolve?"
If an answer isn't quite right, follow the citation to the transcript to confirm. Chat only knows what was actually said in the meeting, so questions about things that weren't discussed will come back empty rather than guessing.
Works in any language
Ask in whichever language you prefer — Chat understands and responds across every supported language, even when the meeting itself was held in a different one.
Privacy
Chat answers are grounded strictly in your own meeting's content. Your conversations and meeting data are never used to train models. See Data & retention for details.
Chat is scoped to a single meeting. To ask questions across many meetings — or to query your notes from external tools and assistants — use the MCP server and the REST API.
