While a meeting is being captured, ScribX shows the conversation transcribing in real time in the side panel — speaker-labeled, translated into your language, with key moments flagged as Checkpoints. You can read along, catch what you missed, and follow speakers without waiting for the call to end.

As someone speaks, ScribX streams the audio to its transcription pipeline and text appears within milliseconds:

• Interim text appears first and updates as the phrase forms.
• Final text locks in once the phrase is complete.
• Speaker labels attribute each line to who said it.

Read along during the call:

• The transcript auto-scrolls with the conversation.
• Scroll up to review earlier lines; you'll jump back to live when you return to the bottom.

Translation — read in your language

Turn on translation and every line shows the original and your translation side by side — so a multilingual meeting reads in one language for you, and another for a colleague.

Each line shows the original (e.g. Japanese) and your translation (e.g. Vietnamese).

1. In the side panel, open the language control.
2. Choose the language you want to read in.
3. Translation appears next to each line as it's committed.

Your choice is personal — each viewer can read the same meeting in their own language.

Mixed-language meetings

ScribX handles calls where people switch languages mid-sentence. Setting the expected meeting languages up front keeps transcription and translation accurate.

Checkpoints — a running summary

Checkpoints are the important moments ScribX flags while the meeting is still live — decisions made, blockers raised, action items assigned. They give you a running summary during the call and become the backbone of the write-up afterward.

Checkpoints captured live alongside the transcript — each one timestamped.

As the conversation moves, ScribX surfaces Checkpoints such as:

• Decisions — what the group agreed
• Blockers — risks and things in the way
• Action items — who's doing what next
• Key moments — notable points worth jumping back to

Each Checkpoint is timestamped, so it links straight to that moment in the transcript and recording, and feeds the finished note's timeline and next-steps.

Saying action items out loud — "action: Mai to send the deck by Friday" — helps ScribX capture them cleanly as Checkpoints.

Accuracy tips

Accuracy depends on audio quality, accent and language. To get the best results:

• Use a decent mic and reduce background noise.
• Add a context & glossary of product names, people and acronyms.
• Set the right meeting languages for the room.
