Languages
ScribX is multilingual end to end. This page pulls together the three language choices that shape a meeting, and how they relate.
Three language choices

These are independent. A meeting can be spoken in Japanese, read in Vietnamese, and summarized in English — all at once, for different people.

Where each is set
- Spoken languages — in Recording settings when you start a capture (shown above), or as a team default.
- Reading language — the language selector on the transcript and in the in-meeting side panel; each viewer chooses their own.
- Summary language — chosen per recording on the detail page, and seeded by your interface language (Personal settings).

Your interface language (Personal settings) changes the ScribX UI and the default summary/email language — it does not change transcription languages.
Mixed-language meetings
Tell ScribX the languages a call will be spoken in up front. It handles speakers switching languages, but the hint keeps transcription and translation sharp.
