v2.0.0 · ScribX — a new name, Output Templates & a docs site
ScribX 2.0 — Scribe becomes ScribX, with custom Output Templates for your summaries, a brand-new marketing site and documentation, smarter notification controls, and sharper transcription. The new name and design reached both the web app and the browser extension.
Web App
New
- A new name: ScribX — the product is now ScribX, at platform.scribx.app (with the API on
api.scribx.app). - Output Templates — build custom summary formats: a system + team library, auto-match, per-section previews, and a format picker on Start ScribX and AI Meeting Notes.
- Documentation & marketing site — the docs site you're reading, plus a new marketing site.
- Notification controls — a two-axis summary-email policy (who receives it and their access), so post-meeting emails go to the right people.
- Team context & glossary for members — any team member can now build the team's context and glossary, not just the owner.
- Personal recording & engine overrides — set your own recording format and transcription engine, synced across the web app and extension; transcript-only is available as an opt-in team default.
Improvements
- Sharper transcription — upgraded the real-time speech model for more accurate live transcripts.
- Cleaner mic + tab capture — cross-source de-duplication when AI Meeting Notes captures your mic and a tab together.
- Localized marketing site — the landing page is now available in Vietnamese and Japanese.
- "Checkpoints" — the live summary tab is now called Checkpoints, with renamed speakers aliased correctly.
Chrome Extension
New
- ScribX rebrand — the extension picked up the new ScribX name and works against the new
platform.scribx.app/api.scribx.apphosts.
